VINCENT YEUNG

Musician, Soloist, Viola Teacher

Biography

YEUNG is a third-year music undergraduate of Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in viola performance. YEUNG started playing violin at the age of 13, then switched to viola 4 years later, currently under the tutelage of Dr. Felix Ungar.

Yeung has appeared in various competitions and festivals, including the Hong Kong Music and Arts Festival, in which Yeung was honorable mentioned in a violin solo competition. Yeung has also participated in the Toolbox International Creative Academy of 2019. Yeung has also joined masterclasses of renowned artists, including Irene Lachner, Dr. Min-Jeong Koh, and Juan-Miguel Hernandez.

Yeung is a profound chamber musician, appearing in string quartet as violist. He has joined string quartet masterclasses of Joel Smirnoff and Dr. Min-Jeong Koh.
